Today was a new day, a different school, and a different group of children. I brought Mr. Frog puppet out of my bag again and began talking to the children about frogs and how they eat bugs. One little girl yelled out, “Frogs eat flies!” Someone else suggested that frogs must also eat mosquitos. Suddenly one little boy blurted out, “Well, I sure hope Mr.Frog doesn’t go around eating bees, because if he does, he might get his tongue stung!—and that would not be very smart!”
MMmmmmmmmm! I guess I have to look that one up! Do frogs eat bees? After all, they ARE bugs. Sure got me thinking!
