INVITATION
Spring is awake in the land,
Come, take my hand.
We can run up and down hills once covered in snow,
And sit still and watch the wildflowers grow—
Then hop with brown rabbits in a field of red clover,
And roll in green grass, over and over.
We can fly dragon kites cloud-floating high,
And lie on our backs, gazing up at the sky—
Then romp in the rain till we’re soaked to the skin,
And splash in the puddles before we go in.
Come, take my hand.
